Admissions Policy

Admission to Anchor Bay University requires:

• A completed application
• High school diploma or GED documentation
• Applicable school transcripts
• A current résumé
• A Personal Statement of Faith & Calling

Applicants may request review of previous college, university, or theological-school coursework, as well as professional, ministry, work, and life experience, for possible transfer or evaluation consideration. Evaluation does not guarantee that credit will be awarded.

Registration Policy

Students must complete applicable admissions and enrollment requirements before registration.

Registration follows the published Anchor Bay University Academic Calendar.

• Fall 2026 regular registration continues through September 18, 2026
• Late registration: September 19-25, 2026
• Late registration fee: $50
• Classes begin September 30, 2026

Tuition & Fees Policy

Tuition and fees are published separately under the current 2026-2027 Tuition & Fee Schedule.

Students are responsible for satisfying applicable academic and financial requirements.

Tuition, fees, and course offerings may be reviewed or revised by the University for future terms or academic years.

Stackable Credit & Tuition Policy

Academic credits stack. Tuition does not.

Academic credits earned through the Certificate in Theology may apply toward the Bachelor of Theology when applicable. Tuition paid for a completed Certificate program does not transfer, roll over, or apply as a credit toward Bachelor tuition. Each academic program carries its own published tuition.

• Applicable Certificate coursework may satisfy the Bachelor of Theology Biblical Foundations component and is never counted twice.
• A student applying 18 earned Certificate credits toward the Bachelor of Theology has 72 remaining academic credits.
• Bachelor of Theology tuition remains $4,500; previously paid Certificate tuition of $1,800 is not subtracted.
• Prior Certificate tuition does not create a tuition rollover, tuition credit, discount, account credit, scholarship, or financial adjustment.

Transfer Credit Evaluation Policy

Anchor Bay University may evaluate previous academic coursework from theological schools, colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

Relevant professional, ministry, life, and work experience may also be considered for evaluation where appropriate.

All evaluations are conducted individually. Submission of previous coursework, transcripts, credentials, professional experience, ministry experience, or life and work experience does not guarantee acceptance or award of credit.

Tuition Refund Policy

A student who submits a written withdrawal request during the first two weeks may receive a 100% tuition refund. After that period, refunds are determined from the date of enrollment:

• Within 30 days of enrollment: 80% refund
• Within 60 days of enrollment: 50% refund
• Within 90 days of enrollment: 30% refund
• After 90 days from the date of enrollment: no refund
